The FL1 development team has been learning and refining. In particular, the limitations and challenges of “Vibe” coding have become much more apparent. This realization has forced the development in a new direction and garnered a new philosophy and approach to using AI as a programming assistant.
The AI future is bright, well, sort of…
For all the hype around AI, there are limitations. UI development with existing AI tools is impressive, but it has a natural speed limit we discovered early on. As remarkable as it is, tools like ‘Loveable’ shine at building rapid prototypes, but things break down when you ask for more advanced programming. In the future, we’ll report out on lessons learned.
In the meantime, the FL1 development team is hard at work getting the V2 of FL1 polished and deployed. We’re relying on a much more traditional, “Agile”-based approach and moving AI to the co-pilot slot where it should have been all along. Stay tuned for more updates and details about our upcoming FL1 release.
